The original request was to take a screen recording of someone using the HR website and sync that up with a scripted voice over, as they had done in the past. I suggested that I could make a smoother, cleaner version, in about the same time, if I animated it instead of doing a screen capture. The idea was approved and I stitched together screen shots of all the pages to feature, then animated the scrolling and mouse movements in After Effects. The end result was a smoother easier to follow video that everyone was very happy with.
